Legacy Rainbow Bridge

This Legacy Session was all about celebrating the love between Huxley and her dad after her recent cancer diagnosis. Still full of life, joy, and endless tail wags, Huxley spent the morning doing her favorite things — eating snow, playing in the golden winter light, and soaking up every bit of the day. Her dad even brought a cooler to save some of that fresh snow, so she could enjoy it again long after the session.

We began just after sunrise in the snowy woods near their home, then moved inside to capture quiet snuggles on the couch — those everyday moments that mean the most.

It was such an honor to be trusted with photographing this beautiful girl and the incredible bond she shares with her person. These images aren’t just portraits — they’re a celebration of her story, made with love in the places they hold closest.

These are just a few of my favorites from Huxley’s session — it was nearly impossible to choose with so many special moments.
